Not fully correct, you can't use strange killstreak items as a part of the recipe. Has to be a unique (yellow border).
I don't know about genuine or vintage items, probably the same.

blinKDon't think it was intended and I don't think it makes much sense. Probably just nobody gave a shit (what's new in this community) to do anything about it. I'll e-mail them about it and post on forums to see what they say.
just because it wasn't intended doesn't mean we should do it. I mean the whole 6v6 gamemode wasn't intended but we do it.
Why would Valve patch this?

you never really needed this, it's just a little helper.
And 3D viewmodels have always been 3D, I think you mean 3D HUD models.

BenroadsI see a lot of people naming their medi/kritz the same so if they do go spy to check they won't be able to tell. If I played med more i'd name my medi Kritzkrieg and Kritz Medi-Gun.
You can enable the 3D HUD model, if you disguise, it shows the model of who you are disguised as.
