(It's fine to give criticism, don't get me wrong, but some of these arguments show some of you haven't watched the video and are just hating it on principle)
Just saying, acting defensively and discrediting someone exposing pedos and alleged complicity from the moderators doesn't help your case much :P
I’ve watched the whole video, and as stated above I understand the message he is trying to push but everything he has presented isn’t completely true and he is being purposely vague about it to make it sound worse then it actually is by trying to frame rgl as one big pedophile ring when it isn’t. All of these cases are completely isolated from each other and well known within the comp scene with 90% of these being discussed on tftv and other forums/discords years before this video was published.
No one in this thread is attempting to discredit the victims or attempting to defend pedophila whatsoever.
You have the guy who made the video sitting in a well known slop youtubers chat who themselves is known for not being entirely true with the information they present saying things like “yea bro it’s a huge rgl cover up” and “serveme has never banned pedos” which is also entirely untrue.
I think if you’re going to make a video as sensitive as this with an issue as extreme as this being the main topic it’s important to present facts truthfully and not attempt to frame it as one giant pedophile ring that all of these cases are related too.
It’s very hard to take the tooru guy seriously when he has an intermission mid video to show he is banned from rgl but that’s not why he’s making the video only to be in zestys chat a day later pinning it all on rgl and serveme and labelling all those who fact check him as pred defenders.
The video also heavily implies the community within the competitive scene does not care about these issues and ignores them entirely which is also factually untrue, people within ozfortess, rgl and e2ftl have always been agaisnt this behaviour.
