I've heard that this game requires a beast of a cpu to run. Are the devs optimizing the game at all?

Server requires 4.4 ghz to hold tick rates that still drop to morph / flash shows on full servers. The game needs a LOT of optimizations. Client side isn't so bad.

It's a lot better than earlier in the beta, I couldn't run over 20 fps then, now I can get something at least playable, if not perfect. Seems there's still a lot of room for improvement though.

so I got my refund, but NS2 is still in my steam library and they even sent me a steam gift of it.
