THEBILLDOZER
Akagi - Gambling prodigy. The show is about mahjong but you can learn the basic rules from watching it

how do you recommend akagi but not kaiji, which btw, is way better than akagi (more variety in gambling, not just mahjong all the time) plus kaiji shows way more emotion than akagi

here are some of my must watch

kaiji s1 and s2
code geass
gurren lagann
tiger & bunny
darker than black (s1)
fate zero
baccano
one punch man
samurai champloo

I recommended akagi because i enjoyed it a lot more. Kaiji is probably more accessible but why wouldn't i recommend a show I liked better. Plus then you can go read tenhou-doori which is the best work fkmt has made bar none.

fair enough. fkmt is great even though making a mahjong match last 20 years is a bit crazy. i really enjoyed strongest man kurosawa.

This is also a great work, and probably the most accessible of his. If you haven't read zero I would recommend it but there's a lot of convoluted math puzzles the mc has to figure out that gets a little annoying from a reader standpoint.

PankeymanI think your attitude is trash. As long as you watch whatever you like and enjoy it then all's good. You got no bidness criticizing other people's anime taste, especially when you try to argue that one show is 'deeper' than another or whatever lameass homo excuse.

Pankey you must end this madness!

Pankeyman The dialogless clip of Anakin nodding reluctantly at Padme as he leaves for battle is a million times more succinct and better representation of their relationship than any garbage about sand that George Lucas could have written. This is actually legit some good stuff.

what made me enjoy the series more than the deep emotional connections that were forged to pave a perfect path into revenge of the sith is that the growing dissent and seeds of rebellion are shown more clearly in this series than all other post-attack of the clones star wars series' combined

also the growth of boba fett from fatherless child into ruthless bounty hunter under the wing of cad bane is some really deep stuff
