So I'm a lefty and crouch jumping has always been really weird for me because of it, so a while ago I started using a crouch jump script which really helped, but Ive been told a bit that it isn't good to use so I was just wondering what you guys thing. And if there are any lefties reading this what do you guys think?

I don't have an answer to your question but all I know is that you're a wonderful gamer and I believe in you.

i am left handed and i had trouble using ctrl to crouch so i bound c for crouch since its right next to the spacebar which is the jump button to me and most people and it really made things easier since all i had to do was place my thumb over the space and c

Do you play with your mouse on the left side of your keyboard? I'm a lefty too, but i could never get used to playing with my left hand using the mouse. I bound crouch to shift to make it easier for my pinkie to reach.

Unless you really need the precision of deciding when to crouch, use a crouch jump script.

I think the only time you do need the control is advanced rocket jumping and medic surfing.

If you still want the control. Your thumb should easily be able to reach ctrl, alt or c

P L ; ' movement instead of W A S D? Then use RShift and RCtrl.
I'm lefty and use right handed mouse and wasd but you can try this.

i use my mouse with my left hand and use right hand on keyboard. i still use W A S D with ctrl to crouch and spacebar to jump.
i've always found it pretty natural to have my thumb on crtl and my pinky on space, even though i have small-ish hands. oh and i don't use a script. i think you should play around with different keys for crouch to see which is most comfortable.

I'm a lefty using a right handed mouse. I originally used WASD with C to crouch so I could mash C and spacebar together to crouch jump, but eventually I shifted to ESDF with A for crouch and M2 to jump (due to playing some Quake). Lets me do c-taps etc really easily.

Im left handed and have a small gaming keyboard (x7 g100 iirc), I crouch with Shift instead of ctrl and that was a thing for me for a while. I heard some people bind it to m2 or something but to be honest I never had any problem with crouching ever since using Shift for it

Shoutout to all the lefty tf2 gamers out there by the way

I am a lefty with the mouse on my left side. I find no problem with my crouch jump script. For movement I currently use arrow keys because I am unsure of what would be an setup with keys around it for me to press.

As I am left handed and I play with my mouse on my left hand try this:

i = forward
j = left
k = backwards
l = right
; = crouch
space = jump
h = slot1
n = slot2
, = slot3
. = slot4
. = slot5
u = medic
o = lastinv
y = reload

thats the main stuff here is my config for binds:
