What is the optimal? The ideal? I have been dissapointed by nearly every 50-100$ Purchase I ever made.
It doesnt matter if its audiophile, or gaming. It simply wont work, and break quite quickly.
I recently got hold of an AKG Y55 (120$) to test something different out. What are your recommendations?

Headphones + Modmic will pretty much always be better.
The Zalman clip-on mic can take the place of the Modmic if the Modmic is too expensive.
