Thanks to the news written by Twiggy, you can find below the announcement of the Master Connexion 4 by TF2 Connexion.
Originally launched in 2012, Master Connexion is a series of original events designed to provide a fun TF2 experience a bit further away from the regular competitive formats such as 6s and Highlander.
Several themed evenings will be held during July and August to win generously offered prizes and glory! All of this for free, and open to everyone (with constant ping) !
What will we play?
There are 7 events planned so far, each with a different game mode :
Monday, July 13th : Ultiduo (2v2) on koth_ultiduo_r_b7
Thursday, July 16th : GG200 (3v3) on gg200_orange_x1
Monday, July 20th : BBall (2v2) on ctf_ballin_sky
Thursday, July 23th : Time trial on jump_adventure (3rd part of the map)
Thursday, August 6th : Scout deathmatch (1v1) on dm_whiskas
Monday, August 10th : Arena Respawn (4v4) (more info on maps later)
Thursday, August 13th : MGE on mge_training_v8_beta4b
Regarding formats, it will vastly depend on how many teams will show up for each event. So you can get everything, from a round robin to a bracket.
Who wins and what?
Finishing in the top 3 of an event earns you points as well as prizes.
For each event you can win TF2 items from the TF2Connexion backpack and points for the global ranking:
1st : 3 items + 10 points per player
2nd : 2 items + 6 points per player
3rd : 1 item + 3 points per player
Last place : 1 crate + 1 points per player (Woo!)
All other players will receive 1 point for participation.
Then at the end all events, the 3 players with most points will loot stuff :
1st : 3 steam games (see this list) + 10 items
2nd : 2 steam games + 8 items
3rd : 1 steam game + 6 items
What the hell are these gamemodes?
That’s a good question! To allow you to find out for yourself, TF2Connexion’s awesome partner mTxServ supplies public servers running Master Connexion’s maps!
Server 1 : MGE/BBall
Server 4 : BBall
Servers 7 and 8 : Scout deathmatch
Hot dog! How do I apply?
First, you create your TF2Connexion account. Then, you create a team, and select team type according to the event you’ll play in. If you want to play in multiple events, you’ll need multiple teams of different types. Unfortunately the TF2Connexion website isn’t translated to English at the moment.

TF2 Connexion takes vacation for one week. You can find below the registrations for the three last events of the Master Connexion 4.
Fifth tournament : Deathmatch Scout - Thursday 6th, August at 21:00 CEST (Paris, Berlin, Madrid & etc...)
TF2 Connexion was a partner of the ETF2L1v1 Scout Tournament. We want to organize an other one.
A scout have to beat the other one in dm_whiskas, a circular map.
We only use the vanilla weapons (+ sandvich).

Here we go for an other new tournament in Master Connexion 4. The Arena Respawn mode is based on Pro Battle League and eXtelevision concept / idea. We play this gamemode as a 4v4 tournament. It looks like similar than the Arena official game mode. But you have the ability to respawn your friends when you capture the central point. We cannot have more than one player per class in the team.
