g500 trade?

Hey,

I bought a g400s some time ago as a replacement for my g500 if it ever broke. I plugged it in last night after my g500 spazzed out (working fine now) but I found out there are a lot of differences I just can't adjust to, and I can't return it back to amazon. Anyone have a spare and want to trade? Alternatively, who wants to buy a barely used g400s for like $50?

Did you buy it brand new? I'm just not sure if you can't get used to it because of some defect that is unknown to you or something like that.

I bought it brand new, but there are a lot of things that I had to adjust to. The g500 has an oddly placed sensor (it's not centered) compared to the g400s's sensor. The g500 has built in accel that, sadly, after two years of use, is pretty much engraved on my muscle memory. I was going to install the QL accel driver onto it, but I'd have to change off my weird-ass DPI to a native one. I'm kind of a wreck when it comes to mice.

Anyone else shouldn't have any problems with it besides the natural adjustment to a new mouse.

I'd like to talk to you about it in private, if you don't mind. I've added you.
