I've streamed LoL in the past and I want to start streaming TF2 (scrims/pugs/whatever) but whenever I start to stream or even preview my stream, the TF2 window becomes inactive although I can still click on things like settings, they will not pop up. Also when I do this my stream is black.
I use OBS.
I'm using game capture.
I've tried windowed and full screen.
The problem only occurs with game capture.
Anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix?

i have the exact same problem and i also have razer synapse, does that cauze it? :O
it worked before when using synapse though

Yes I had that problem and I uninstalled and it worked!

synapse updated like a week or so ago with some shit to heatmap your keyboard and track your mouse clicks and keyboard presses.
supposedly it only works in game so it probably usese the same hook obs is using to get your game and thus using both of them at the same time doesn't work.
send a customer service email to razersupport because this shit needs to get fixed asap

I think its just with the surround sound part

theres a second program in your task manager.
its like razergamecapture or some bullshit
turn it off/kill it before you stream, you can keep synapse open, and stream obs it seems. 10/10 troubleshooting,.

Thanks! It was called RazerInGameEngine. Ya I was unsuccessful in installing an older version of synapse, Razer doesn't allow that.
