I like animated crosshairs. And the perfect crosshair for me is "the ring" (it's an default one) i think it is crosshair3, well, I'm trying to change to black when i damage someone. I wrote this in this file hudanimations_tf.txt :
event DamagedPlayer
{
Animate _here goes the name_ FgColor "0 0 0 255" Linear 0.0 0.00001
Animate _here goes the name_ FgColor "0 255 0 255" Linear 0.10 0.10001
}
(yes, i want it to go to black from green)
But i don't know how to put it in the ring crosshair, only in custom crosshair that are in the hudlayout.res file.
If someone can help me I'd aprecciate it. :)

Yes, you'd probably have to make a custom one. I don't think you can tweak default crosshairs like that.

I'm sorry, I'm not much of hud creator, or crosshairs. The only name that rings to my head is Fog (rumor has it he is pretty approachable and helpful), but I'm sure there are alot of people out here that could help you out, considering they have time. Keep your hopes up.
Also feel free to share the product if it ever gets done, i'm interested in it myself.
