So I'm trying to join streamers' Twitch chats through IRC however when I type "/join #Mangachu_", for example, I get put into an empty channel. I am connected to irc.twitch.tv port 6667 and logged in with my Twitch username.
Am I doing something wrong?

It can take a long time for the channel join to be made successfully. Try waiting for a bit.

I'm past that stage mate, I'm already connected to the server, I just can't join the channels.

@ #8 I'm pretty sure you have to link your steam to your twitch account, and even then its only for defensing of the ancients 2 so no one really cares about it.
