As of very recently, I've been having pretty ridiculous lag. I have never had lag problems quite like this:

As you can see, the graph spikes very often and whenever it does my tf2 stutters. During the complete drops in the graph, the game just freezes.
I don't know much about internet stuff, can any of you guys help me figure this out?

Try setting cl_cmdrate and cl_updaterate to 66, and rate to 100000.
Also try playing on <100 ping servers, lol

I think valves new update messed up something with the connection or something, loads of people have some issues lately.

Those are exactly my rates, and I usually get 30 ish ping to this server

Yeah, lots of people are getting issues with extrapolation now...I'm wondering what Valve could have done to cause the issues in the first place, though I don't know a whole lot about how the game's code works, anyway.

Well, I just proposed the fix that worked for me. Others have said the issue went away on its own for them, so hopefully the issue will go away for you too. Sorry I can't help you any further.
