Hey guys,

I did a cast on Monday of an Open match that happened the week before. I posted it on TrueTF2 to see if I could get any nice criticism on it. The biggest thing that people said was that my in-game volume was too high compared to my mic volume.

So, what volume should I have in-game so that it'll be good enough for casting?

I'll provide the video if anyone wants it as well.

My in-game volume for when I plan to do a lot of talking over the game is .1 or .11. I play srs 6v6 at .14. I chill the fuck out at .06.

I also have my system sound set quite low in OBS/Xsplit.

You should also make sure your mic volume is set properly in Windows.

I have to adjust my mic volume back to 70 every time I cast because other programs keep fucking with it.

My game volume, by contrast, is 4 in the Windows audio mixer. Out of 100.
