how difficult would it be to fork p-rec and port it over to cs:go? is it even possible? i'd probably be willing to do the work myself, just trying to figure out what i'll be facing before i try.

yeah, obviously that's the first big obstacle. i'd like to see if he'd release it as an open-source project, but i'm doubtful.

Any chance you could release the source code so we won’t bother you anymore with this? :)
Take a look at OpenPlugin [Link] just add some event listener code and console command execution code and you will get new plugin for demo recording with blackjack.
P-rec source is 3.5 years old “spaghetti” code, and it won’t help you.

orange has been asked multiple times if he'll ever release the source code and hes always said "no, its almost impossible to decipher now as its spaghetti code." or something along those lines
