Hey guys! I have just purchased a new server and thought I would share it with you.
I found that there really aren't a lot of quality pubs out there, especially in Europe (or maybe I just didn't look hard enough) and even though I'm trying to get into comp right now I still play on pubs a lot. So I thought it would be great to have a good server with decent maps that I have a great ping to populated by cool players. (I mean you!)
And since tf.tv doesn't seem to have a pub, I decided that I should advertise it here first.
The IP is 108.61.255.65:27015
The Server is has no random crits, fixed bullet spreads and no damage spread.
I set up class limits that I thought to be appropriate and maybe I will do compclass days or other weekly shenanigans like that in the future.
I uploaded a lot of custom maps that I thought would be good while keeping the good default ones.

The server is hosted in Amsterdam, so Europeans should have great pings and Eastcosters should still have a good connection.
If you have any other ideas or suggestions for plugins/things to do with the server/places to advertise the server or anything like that, be sure to post them.
There also is a Mumble server with 35 spots if anyone wants to chill in voicechat there: 173.199.64.246:10012
I'm not sure if this will be enough to populate the server but it sure would be cool to see it being played. Maybe it could get a spot on the "Active Servers" list to the right? I don't know how you get in there though. If you want, tell your friends about the server or maybe post it in a steam group so it won't be forgotten once this thread goes down.

Depending on where in the US you live you might have an okay ping. I played a lot on STAR_'s server, usually with a ping of 80-100 and was okay. If you are east cost, maybe give it a try.

I set up the mumble so it has seperate rooms for the RED and BLU teams, so if you actually care you can join those for that special communication with medic&team.

For some reason it was offline for a while earlier today. If you want to play on it and I'm not on there, PM me on steam and I will try to fix it. Idk what was causing the issue before but I restarted it and it should be running without problems now.

Another info for you guys: If you are looking at the gametracker header, it sometimes displays the server as offline. It is not, though. I am constantly watching over the server and keeping it up. So you should be able to play even though the header for some reason says it is offline. If it really is, let me know.

Gameplay is working fine, however there seems to be a problem with the server automatically going down and restarting on every map change. I apologize for this. I will try to fix it tonight and contact the provider#s support about it.
If you have any idea what could be causing it, please let me know.
I also appreciate everyone who plays on it and gives feedback as that helps me to fix the issues faster.

There was this issue where the server would crash and restart on every map change.
I found out what was causing the issue. Apparently it only happens when I have replays enabled. Wtf. Any idea what is going on?
Server is working fine now though.
