my aim isnt that bad but i still have to learn how to time the shit right

would you say duel is way more fun then say CA or TDM. never really did it too much

duel is fun if you're playing someone your level

I like just playing TDM or CA with friends because Im a filthy casual. Dueling is too much pressure

Duel is the way the game is meant to be played.

Game is fun, pugs are fun, make sure you get the qlm bot working, makes the game awesome.

CA PQL pubs are the greatest thing. I can airstrafe now.

I started dueling with Nil recently. It's hard, but as soon as you get the hang of it, it gets fun.

this might be a dumb question, but how do I tab out when it's fullscreen? :) (I know of alt+enter, but I want to be able to tab out whilst full screen)

How do I fix the blurriness of my icons?

never seen that. could you give a screenshot?

edit: I just remembered that when I first started playing, my crosshair was really foggy. I don't remember what made the problem go away, or if I even really tried to fix it. I just solved the problem by accident at some point.

mess with your selected crosshair and cg_crosshairSize
also mess with r_picmip (use vid_restart to apply new picmip settings) if it's doing something weird.

edit 2: I probably just ended up hitting "reset all settings" at some point and that fixed it. it's worth a shot. it's in your out-of-game settings on the quakelive website.

Tf.tv quakelive (or cpma) tourney would be pretty neat. Anyway, QL is always way more fun when you're playing with people who aren't way better or worse than you. I'll add ya for a duel or two once finals are over. Anyone else should feel free to do the same, ign: t3tra.

CA pubs are pretty good for getting a feel for the game considering you get to use all the weapons and have some sort of stack to work with
