Steampipe -> hitsound doesn't work

Broeselhud works right, but my hitsound doesn't. I put the file in /tf/custom/UserStuff/sound/ui (like in this thread http://teamfortress.tv/forum/thread/7621-custom-hitsound-with-steampipe), but while it works for the other person, it doesn't for me, and I don't get what I might be doing wrong. Help?

Broeselhud works right, but my hitsound doesn't. check the in game volume command i think its tf_dingaling or something, make sure thats set to 1

Yeah, I looked into that, and turns out my hitsound was just really fricking quiet :P Thanks for the help

Mine works, I put it in custom > HUD > sound > ui

My advice is this: copy your entire tf folder to your custom user folder for steampipe.
