file:///C:/Users/Gaming%20Computer/Desktop/Capture.PNG

After the update I could not play demos and my hud wasnt there and prec wasnt working and in the demoui it wanted me to look for demos in that strange file linked above (if i didnt work i dont know how to post pictures anyway) that leads me to believe tf2 is looking for game files in the wrong folder.

Any one know how to fix this?

(if this was confusing im sorry this is kinda hard to explain for me)

Wait, did you update TF2 to the Steampipe beta?

If so, that would be everything.

Steampipe moves your game to the common folder, but custom content isn't moved I think. You'll need to move that all on your own.

Also, P-REC is broken in Steampipe I believe. I personally haven't upgraded, I like being able to play.

You should put all your custom content in the custom folder to prevent it being overwritten.

Also, your custom content may have been put in the downloads folder in the new installation, if it was moved. Just move it to the custom folder and it should work.

Probably best if you read this: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=7388-QPFN-2491

I didn't know it would be that easy. Thanks hooky
