Problem with mouse scroll wheel

I have an unusual issue with the pro x superlight I recently purchased. At first I thought it was a problem with the switches, but there are no issues in game. Sometimes when I open a window of any kind I cannot click on anything UNLESS I move the scroll wheel, then somehow it activates the window for use. This also happens with the task bar. Another thing, when I scroll down on websites it automatically sends me back to a previous page I was on

I tried looking through the software to see if there was any way to reset the mouse settings but it doesn’t seem like there is

If you have some kind of Logitech G software, maybe it remapped your scroll wheel to mouse4? I believe you can remap mouse buttons with one of their programs. Try downloading one to check, and see if the settings are just bad out of the box. If that's not the case, just open a ticket with Logitech and RMA it.

Just experimented. All of the buttons are programmed to the defaults. However… movement of the scroll wheel is registered as MOUSE4 as tested by the discord “push to talk” shortcut. This doesn’t explain why sometimes I cannot click on certain windows though…it’s like everything is backwards internally.
