Streams Lagging

Lately a bunch of twitch streams have been lagging alot for me to the point where i cant watch because it stutters alot. I can't tell if it's my internet or what. I used to be able to watch 1080p on a lot of streams and now i can barely watch 480.

happens to me on and off as well, 10Mbps down 1.5 up. just twitch bugging out i think

I too believe it to be a twitch issue. Depending on the day/hour the exact same stream can run at 1080p+ or barely chug along at 360p. This is on 60Mbps down and 10 up that I check pretty regularly.

Usually I just take it as a sign to watch something else, often the next streamer down a channel will run perfectly when the one I originally wanted can't even sync audio. I would only recommend looking into it further if certain streams are always lagged.
