I have this little tiny black crosshair that is in the way and i have no clue why its there i checked all my hudcrosshairs and they are all set to 0. if i delete the resources and scripts in /tf/custom/mystuff/ and i launch tf2 i launch tf2 with a hud still.
I basically cant get rid of my hud at all.

ok, logically, if there is a crosshair on your screen then there can only be three possibilities that come to my mind.

1. there is a hud crosshair, you just didnt find it
2. something is wrong in your config and somehow you are getting two crosshairs
3. steampipe is fucking you up the asshole in an extremely hard fashion and you might just have to wait it out.

try verifying integrity of game files.
