Was looking forward to this and just realized it came out like half a month ago l0l.
Anyone play it yet? Better/worse than Tri? I'm a real big fan of the series and have been playing it since the PS2, played the shit out of MHF2 and Unite but couldnt get into Tri, wondering if any other tf2 players have picked up MH3U and if so on which console.

tl;dr new monster hunter good/bad? if so which console is better.

I want it really badly, but I'm poor

It's Tri with an expansion pack for the end game

id probably get it on the 3DS just because then i can play it from my bed.
if any of you still play the PSP ones, i might just go buy a used PSP and break out my old memory card and PS3 and get onto Adhoc Party.

Funny, it's sitting on the desk beside me right now. Currently trying to kill some elder ancient sea dragon by poking it to death with what might as well be a pool noodle.

Never played a MH game but this is pretty fun. I have the 3DS version. It's the same as the WiiU one but with no online. I'll say that the Circle Pad is a necessity if you want to get anything done underwater, since the Dpad is bound to look and the Circle Pad controls movement.
