The penultimate week of the season, and a deciding week for the lower-half of the Prem table.
GlobalClan.EU face off against Alvin and the Britmunks, the 8th and 7th place teams respectively. Although playoffs is no longer on the table for either team, they’ll both be looking to prove themselves as worthy of the Premiership spot and avoid relegation.
If Alvin can win this game (and get their major warning for screenshots reversed), they’ll tie themselves up with new team for the 6th spot in the league table, managing to avoid the bottom two spots, before tie-breaker scores. However, new team is scheduled to play against GC.EU next week. So, in order for Alvin to climb up the table, GC.EU must lose this weeks game 6-0, and then win their next game 6-0. But what if GC.EU manages to win both games? In that case, they’ll be able to claw their way back to 6th place, and maybe even 5th depending on other results.
Nonetheless, this game is a deciding factor for the final standings of the table, and could be detrimental for teams wishing to stay in Prem next season.
