Hi there!

I've been a spy main for a while now and I've been hoping to improve at the fragging classes, namely scout. I've been mge'ing a bit and I feel that my huge fucking 360 (see title) is holding me back? It's literally twice my mousepad. I've used this sens for the past 7 months and have become extremely accustomed to it, and changing it ends with me overshooting everything imaginable.

So what to do? Keep it and get used to it, or is it just too unreasonable and I should bump it up?

It's completely personal preference.

How do you do against soldiers?

Use mouse accel if you can't handle high sens.

I can generally track them when they jump, but if I lose them it's a pain in the ass to spin around to get sight of them again. I'll give mouse accel a try.

I don't know how you played with that in the first place, but in the end it's just personal preference.

However I think it'd be a useful general rule to be able to spin 180 degrees quickly and easily (especially without falling off your mousemat or desk) so that you can react to something flanking you.

If your giant in/360 works, don't worry about it and just keep using it. If, however, you notice that your movement or ability to deal with people flanking you from behind is suffering, you might want to try changing your sensitivity to something higher, and just getting used to aiming with that new sens.

I used to use a 55" 360. Now I use 8.8". Use whatever you're comfortable with.

I guess this explains why jumping over heads works perfectly about 50% of the time.

Work your way down to a lower sensitivity. Jump down to like 25in for a day or 2 and then do it again.

If you can't quickly react to all 360 degrees around you within milliseconds then you won't get anywhere playing a fraging class.

That's actually a pretty good idea. I never really thought of using it that way.
