oh shit never mind i still need help.

Currently, I am running TF2 in windowed mode. When I play the game I have the full screen though. However, when I have this full screen my game my graphics bump up to the highest settings (1600 x 900). I would like my game to be full screen like it is now, but have lower graphics for good FPS. (When I put it down to 1280 x 720 it goes into about half the screen.) Anything I'm doing wrong here? If you need to know, these are my launch options.

-nod3d9ex -windowed -noborder -sw -novid -w 1280 -h 720

I just have

-windowed -noborder -w 1920 -h 1080

and it works fine. Not sure what your problem is, could you write it out in a different way? I have no idea what you're trying to say right now.

I'm running in full screen windowed, but my game requires me to have the highest quality on TF2. I don't want the highest quality, but if I put my normal quality, it will run but the window will only cover about half my screen.

you'd need to change your desktop resolution to match whatever new res you want. You can't play windowed with a smaller res than your native and have it take up your entire screen, as far as i know.

I'm assuming that's what you're asking

this would be an annoying solution to your problem, but if you keep the launch options as

-nod3d9ex -windowed -noborder -sw -novid -w 1280 -h 720

then if you want the game to cover your whole screen, you need to change your desktop resolution as well. The game wont stretch to the edges in windowed mode; only fullscreen will do that.

GGFI'm running in full screen windowed, but my game requires me to have the highest quality on TF2. I don't want the highest quality, but if I put my normal quality, it will run but the window will only cover about half my screen.

The word you are looking for is resolution, and the two posts above cover how to fix this. Right click on your desktop, select properties, and then change the screen resolution to 1280x720
