Please elaborate so I can forward the information? It's not pulling streams to the site? Numbers aren't correct?

I heard there were ddos attacks. Is that true? One of the streamers I was watching claimed to have been ddos'd and a lot of people in chat made reference to this twitter account https://twitter.com/WarOnTwitch.

The problem is that people do not understand how to protect themselves from this sorta stuff. Skype is generally the #1 cause of this, as it's p2p and it's very easy to get an IP. You don't need to be on a contact list at all. If you follow this guide - http://imgur.com/a/NpFdW you'll be okay when it comes to skype. The only really "safe" way to browse the interwebs is via VPN, and I'd recommend hidemyass.com for that.

(the paid version - think it's $70/ year or something.)
