The keyboard I use most of the time has Cherry MX Browns, however I have a smaller keyboard that I use for LANs or with my laptop that has Cherry MX Blues. I honestly don't have a preference to either.

mx blue is nice for typing but sometimes it's way too fucking loud which get annoying

i just bought another mx brown keyboard coming tmr (v60 60%) so it'll be nice to try something new for once

i think it's also lighter too and the mx blues r a bit too heavy

According to the chart from r/mechanicalkeyboards, Reds and Browns have the same activation force. However people often believe Browns are slightly heavier to press due to the tactile feedback. Blues aren't that much heavier to press on, but what I like about Browns over Blues is that you can press down on the key a little before it activates without much force.

after just getting the browns and blues the biggest difference i feel is that browns are very much linear

you press, it hits the tactile bump, and then the pressure remains the same

in blues after you hit the tactile bump it becomes sort of stiffer, idk

browns are very much obviously not linear but i absolutely love brown switches at the moment (but not having an escape key is killing me tbh)

Reds were a pain to use at first, but after getting used to it, I love it.
