the corsair m45 has a setting for 1000hz, so unless you want to downclock the mouse, this driver won't improve it. (or unless you want to try more than 1khz.)
the driver is meant mainly for old mice like the WMO and the MX300. these mice gain a huge tracking improvement at 500 or 1000 (relative to 125) but the mice themselves can't be set to anything but 125.
