to date i have not modded my tf2, yet my sound in TF2 is non-existant, no music, sfx or anything of the likes.
i have checked my audio mixer and such, and TF2 is there, on full 100% audio no less, and still nothing.
ive tried revalidating my files multiple times and there is absolutely nothing.
im on a 3 month old PC so corruption couldn't be a problem.

is your volume in game set to 0?
type "volume 1" in the console

maybe its snd_mixahead
try snd_mixahead 0.1 or 0.05
maybe its snd_mixahead
try snd_mixahead 0.1 or 0.05
