Take that but times it by two. Add a better singleplayer, polish multiplayer, better online/offline functions, and better looking graphics (for the time). You get Timesplitters 2.

fatswimdudeZordonFreemanHalf Life 2 deathmatch is fun, although maybe because I keened Half Life and know the weapons really well.

I preferred Half Life DM 2. The biggest problem right now is that EVERYONE uses grenade scripts.

I hope UT4 pans out well. I really just want a fun-skilled pub game again; nothing has really filled the void that T:A's death and the abysmal state of TF2 pubs have left in me.

Not sure if it has an active community, but Painkiller was really fun. All the weapons are just so visceral.
On the bright side if you can't find a server the single player is still astounding.
