Color values for yellow crosshair?

M4TTYou should use a piece of yellow paper as the crosshair for the real yellow crosshair because your monitor doesn't actually show yellow, it's just a mixture of red, blue and green.

While it's true that monitors don't emit light that we would call yellow, I don't believe it's correct to call yellow paper any more yellow than yellow on a monitor. You don't have a single continuous receptor in your eye which can pinpoint wavelengths - your perception of colour is based on how strongly a number of distinct receptors (three main ones) called cones are triggered. Yellow paper will also reflect a large number of wavelengths of light, which are interpreted by your brain as being yellow.

I am aware that this was possibly bait.
