Regular rules, normal CPU. No race limit - so it's basically just a lobby. Closed every Wednesday from 11 to 11:30 cet because apparently you are required to have your tournament closed for at least half an hour - but you can still play while it's locked. Points are reset at that time, too.

Is there anyone in the world besides nintendo that thought blue shells in a game was a good thing, and where the f are the actual battle mode arenas... I like this game though, only one I've played a fair bit of since the N64/SNES ones

Blue shells are super annoying but still serve a purpose. If you're in the middle of the pack, you have to dodge all sorts of shit and you can't realistically be anywhere near as fast as someone with a good lead. The blue shell is an equalizer so that getting a decent early lead doesn't result in an automatic win.

Besides the connection issues and the limited MKTV, I'm having a lot of fun and the game is pretty good. Also, I would probably suggest adding people due to the fact that there is no concert number on how many people here will actually play the game. Entering a tournament when no one is on would be boring, imo.
