No one knows yet but considering it's Ubisoft it will most likely be on Steam and Uplay is up in the air since they don't force people to use it. (South Park didn't anyways)

But AC3 and AC4 did, which was pretty nasty to interact with.

EDIT: It was on steam, i know, but you had to launch it through Uplay

Yeah, I remember quite a few sorta big/big games needing Uplay in the past ~2-3 years. I don't really have a problem with that client. I've only ever used it to launch whatever games and that's fine enough for me.

FC3 used Uplay and all I remember about Uplay was that it existed. If I wanted to play FC3 I would launch it through Steam and watch as first Uplay started then FC3 started. If you tell Uplay to automatically log you in on startup you never have to touch it again outside of closing it when you're done playing.

Also this game looks really slick. I don't think I've played a Tom Clancy game since the original Ghost Recon on PS2, and boy did we play that awful game a lot in co op.

I hope the hype doesn't ruin the game's reception.

I want it to be good so bad @_@

Uplay isn't nearly as shitty as origin. I just got a discount copy of Splinter Cell Blacklist and it had to be played via uplay. Wasn't bad, wasn't great. Ill take anything over shitty origin tho.
