I work as an intern at my school, i help maintain the computers and the network there with the guy that the school hired, his name is josh. I was passed out in my study hall with a hoodie on as a blanket, when the room's phone rings and josh is telling me that he needs help with the laptops. I go there, and someone took every single laptop from one of the carts, about 40 of them, and replaced the background with some kind of gay porn.

I was supposed to go through and replace the images with some kind of stock background that was clean, but instead i grabbed two of the dictionaries off the shelf, laid down in the back of the room away from the door, and covered up with my hoodie and slept until the bell rang.

Most productive day(s): waited till last minute to do all of my English projects in grade 12. I think I did 3 essays, 3 writing assignments, and 2 book projects where I had to read The Great Gatsby and Hamlet and finished all in 2 nights. Ended up with a C+ in the class.

reillyI have a bit of a moral conundrum, because I'm not a huge supporter of the whole go to school and become a slave of the system. But now I'm at university, and working hard actually feels good sometimes, that I'm not sure how I feel about it anymore.

Fitting in with the system is the best way to achieve anything in the modern world. Just treat everyone in your life well and that's about as much good as you can be expected to do.

as for productive days? i dunno. i feel too bad about myself if i waste a whole day so that literally never happens. at the same time, i make it a rule to always make some time to fuck around every day so i never have extremely productive days either. I guess any day I don't play TF2 is my most productive.

Probably my most productive day was when I arrived from school, I ate an apple and a some unsalted peanuts, did my homework, did the dishes, went into my garage and practiced boxing, ran 2 miles on the treadmill, and did suicides. I then proceeded to go play the piano and finish "Hyperspace" by Michio Kaku. Went to sleep at 9:00 PM and got 9 hours of sleep.

If every day of mine was identical to that, I probably would be class president or something.

reillyIt's not something I'm used to at all, like, actually doing things and making an effort. Trying in school. Trying to not conform to the system and stand out like a pretty unique blooming flower is great and all, but at the end of the day, you gotta just do what makes you feel good.
