For a few days now tf2 has started lagging and droping frames. It started when I joined a EU Lobby (I live in USA) and it just became almost unplayable. It sdoes the same thing on local survers too. Help!

happens to me too for a while now. only for like 10 seconds i get like the worst internet ever, choke of 20 etc., then it's normal again seems to affect my mumble as i time-out there too. only thing strange is it happens only in tf2, played gmod didn't happen there, already did "-autoconfig" but hadn't a chance to see if it helped i will post again when i have results.

i've been freezing or having weird lag spike like instances in tf2 lately but my ping seems stable and fine. must be some kind strange update mishap? going to try messing with rates and lag compensation/smooth. ill update the thread if i find anything

I've been getting random FPS drops since the HUGE update months ago. I'll be playing just fine with ~200+ FPS, then I'll have to play with 50 FPS for like 3 minutes. I'm starting to think it isn't random. It's not an update that's doing it though, I get this shit in every game now and I could never find out why. Nothing is out of the ordinary and this blows dick basically.

I'm getting 40-50fps no matter what resolution I'm using?

I'm getting 40-50 on midfights since the 3 last updates.
tf2 needs an improvement (probably less physics and/or quadcore support).

Mine's been kind of wonky too lately, with seemingly random fps drops to about thirty or forty for about ten seconds, then back to normal.

my game randomly stutters for a split second since about a month. no idea why, i tried verifying files and stuff, but it still does it. only tf2 does it too.
