So I have played more than half of my esea matches with over 120 ping. ONLY esea servers are pinging that high whether its texas or chicago. We played one match on colorado in which my ping was actually 40 (which is the lowest ive ever played a match on). When I don't have esea client on, I get my normal 60-80 on texas and chicago servers when i ping them. But during match time, I ping HIGH and I'm finally pissed off after weeks of growing frustration. Sometimes during matches, my ping drops down to normal for a max of 5-10 minutes. I have tried:
-Restarting modem
-Reinstallling ESEA client
-Restarting steam
-Launching TF2 then esea client.
If I join any another non-esea server while on esea client, I ping normal.
Other than esea servers being extremely horrible, what can I do? I don't want to install TF2 because I have VERY slow download speeds. I am not getting better internet for a video game. The server issue is not my internet I can confirm with a simple speed test while I'm on an esea server. My routing to esea servers aren't bad because last season, I didn't lag at all in a match. Last note, I ping bad only to certain ones sometimes. I.E. some nights ill ping 60 to Texas 99 but 140 to Texas 160 but then the next night, I'll have 160 to Texas 99... Any Ideas?
