The thing that actually surprises me is that whenever shit like this comes about, I always get the strong impression that banny actually has something against Europeans. I hope its unintentional or better yet if its just me that feels like this, but to let competition affect your mannerisms to the point where you consistently give people the impression you're prejudiced is not ok. I can't listen to him say the shit he says and pretend he's a reasonable person.

#33 Online demo playback at demos.tf in Projects

Can't look at this atm as I'm on my phone, but if annotation tools like tactics.tf get put in this would be a massive resource for teams and analysts, i echo kaidus enthusiasm, this is great work and I think anyone doing coaching or LAN preparation will be able to get good value out of this. Keep it up demos.tf!

saamIt's halfway into the season and champgg lost a match to a team they were solidly better than in preseason. How much longer should they wait before making changes?

You're basing this on what, pcw results? I won't get into why pcw results are a flawed way of rating teams, but heres my 2c on the matter:
Champ had a lot of flaws preseason and during. People thought they were the clear cut 2nd team because they got good results and a few close games vs 7 and they have talented players that can make big performances. Now lets look at top5 - less talented players, so in theory they have lower potential, and they weren't getting as good results at the start of the season, but during the season we could see they were doing well in pcws, gentlemanjohn's scrim elo showed this.

There are a lot of things that go into making a good team in tf2, and tbh the only aspect that I think champ were better than top5 for a good bit of the season thus far were their talent (raw ability, dm, whatever you wanna call it), and at times focus fire (not even consistently). Top5 however, as a team of many seasons, have a lot of strengths that they've developed by sticking together (ironic) over a long period of time. They have more consistent focus fire, they are more consistently playing as a unit in game, they have a much better idea of their style of play than champ did, afaik they don't really tilt, and one thing that cant be ignored is that they put a lot of work into their play, I know ombrack watches a lot of other team's demos and they practice this stuff to counter other teams.

It's easy to think oh 'champ has better players they should beat top5', but if we forget the fact that champ has the talent to make plays in SLOW AS FUCK pcws vs 7 so they can win a few rounds, and lets think about this. In most aspects of analysis, top5 is a better team that is doing much more to reach their potential and develop as a team, whereas champ has thus far been quite a mixed bag, probably the most tilt potential in prem, varied levels of commitment in their players, and despite being imo the most naturally talented roster in prem, they haven't matched the results of top5.

Now this is in a lot of depth, and I have been coaching champ up until now so I know what I'm talking about, and in my opinion this wasn't a good decision even on paper (there was a misunderstanding whereby this happened while I wasn't around and they thought I agreed with this) - it has put a lot of stress on the players and the direction of the team, and unless spudd and sil are willing to put in the time and effort tom was doing to help develop the inexperienced players of the lineup, this will probably prove to be a bad move. I really hope they prove me wrong, and go on to develop strengths as a team, I genuinely believe this is one of the most talented rosters in the games history, especially with spudd playing, and I think these guys can go on to be great - but on the sole condition that they put aside bs differences and make active effort to help each other improve and be more selfless with their play. That was lacking while I was coaching and while tom was leading and thats probably a big part of why I decided not to stay on after tom was kicked.

ThalashIn my opinion replacing T0m with Silentes just seems like they think it's an easy way to get back to the top 2 spot, without having to put in much work.

This. I'm pretty disappointed.
