some lan gameplay footage would be awesome
there must be loads of lan footages of them playing. esea lan was dissapointing in terms of lan videos.
something to do with the video config i guess. windows xp rig is on dxlevel 81 (not set in launch options of course)
the goal is to run 1280x720 full screen. not windowed, noborder.
windowed/noborder is not the same if you have a different desktop resolution (1920/1080).
has anyone used windows xp before with fullscreen and not have this issue? if so what tweaks did you make?
is there a way without using windowed/noborder? for win7, removing -dxlevel from launch options is enough to allow me to alt-tab freely even from fullscreen mode.
is this issue inherent in xp? really want to keep fullscreen.
Not sure where else to put this as i don't want to clutter the General Discussion section.
TF2 on windows xp full screen: when i alt-tab back into TF2, it goes into a black screen and becomes unplayable until it is restarted.
-dxlevel is removed from launch options. using chris maxframes.
launch options:
-w 1280 -h 720 -freq 120 -above normal -full -console -novid

should kinda do it like reddit where you have to submit proof or something
nice find flynn. will read up on it :D. he says it has accel at 3200 DPI. i intend to use it at 400dpi, would there still be accel?
ye, i'm waiting for my BROeselhud to update. meanwhile back to pvhud.
Where did you hear about the rumor that KANA has positive accel? I'm getting fustrated with my sensei, the sensor is feeling more and more sluggish and skippy.
say if i wanna keep my dual monitor setup, based on above mentioned setup, that would require 3 simultaneous outputs which older generation nvidia based cards probably wont be able to handle. it would require dual-link dvi, its 60hz clone to the AVERMEDIA Live Gamer HD using another dvi/hdmi or hdmi, and a third dvi for the 2nd monitor.
that would in theory allow you to run dual displays and stream at the same time with minimal frame loss using only 1 pc.
edit:
another thing that intrigues me is the possibility of input delay with the use of usb webcams. this wouldn't be an issue if one had a separate stream rig as the webcam can be plugged into that. but in a one pc setup, that would make fps games unplayable. my concern of this arises from my experience with skype and other video recording software using my webcam.
