i got an i5 2500k with gtx 275 and a spare rig with a q6600 and xsplit. At the moment, i'm using ffsplit to output to a flv file for xsplit to stream. tf2 fps is around 160 to 300. but i still feel input lag at times and fps dips, as hooky described.

i suggest having our "official" tf2 holiday during the off season where there is little tf2 activity around the globe. i am sure there are pockets of times when esea/etf2l and all the other major leagues around the world are not running at the same time. i think that leaves us with more time to commit to promoting tf2. syncronize it with all our pockets of local communities around the world and make it a weekend event.

teamfortress.tv is a great base to work off from and i suggest this to be our global meeting place for all communities to interact, synchronize and get things done together.

besides reddit, we need more social media, tap on the current generation of people who love having information pushed to them. that means a twitter and facebook account for teamfortress.tv (i know there are facebook/twitter haters but still, they are untapped mediums and will help give comp tf2 more attention).

run prifinnity and set affinity of hl2.exe to the last 4 cores of your cpu and set priority to high ( you can add it to favourites and auto-set).

i was hoping maybe have Dxtory output to a file and have another rig with xsplit pick up on that over the network (shared dir).

is it possible to have it setup so that i have Dxtory capture the game on my main rig and xsplit encode/stream it on another rig?

I think the icemat is too small. Loved the consistency though. If you are not particular about stopping precisely maybe it works for you.

why was the hayate horrible?

i had the vanilla stream on along with bytes(when it was on) and cubes. they were all muted and gave an alternative pov to seanbuds stream. i need more eyes
