UPDATE to the weather- out of nowhere it's kind of gloomy and it's now going to rain on tuesday, wednesday and thursday MAYBE friday but the weather will cool off a little bit. it'll still be warm for you east coasters but just letting yall know :)

ALSO, if anyone needs a mech keyboard or mouse you may borrow one from me if needed. I have an extra CM Storm Quickfire with Red switches, and a Razer Black Widow tournament edition with razer switches. As far as extra mice, I have a Deathadder 2013, Deathadder Chroma, Logitech G403, G Pro, and the old generation Zowie EC2, AM, and EC2-A. (I'm aware I have a problem). On really good days I have 69 ping (>:D) to Chicago servers. On normal days (especially lately), I get around 85 ping average to Chicago with microspikes that go to 120-130 ping and then come back down. It makes the game really annoying to play. In ESEA servers, I get 100 ping in scoreboard, so about 110 in net graph which is again, really annoying. Even though I've always had shitty internet service because I have Spectrum aka Time Warner Cable aka Shiternet, it's been especially bad in the past couple months.

Hey everyone!

I was just telling Jarrett about how the weather will be this time around and I figured I should just share how the weather ACTUALLY feels (since I live here) as opposed to you guys looking up stuff on weather.com etc.

It's been pretty warm here with an average temperature of 77 degrees. It feels really hot to me personally, but a lot of others around here love it. The nights can get a bit chilly, with the mornings being a bit cool here and there but not too much. Here's my recommendations on what you guys should pack for both daytime and nighttime:

T-shirts
Light hoodie- it gets a little chilly at night
Shorts (since this kind of weather is summer for a lot of east coast people)
Sunglasses (It's pretty bright)
Towel
A pair or two of jeans
Flip flops if you own a pair and if you want to go to the beach- I'll be orchestrating a beach trip sometime before the events start (most likely)
Light socks because you don't want to be wearing thick socks in this weather- your feet will McStinko

It will supposedly be raining on Wednesday but I doubt some of you will be here that early- if you are though, it's really no big deal because it will be 77 degrees on that day too. If anyone has anymore questions feel free to PM me on tftv or add me on Steam. Have a good one :)

Someone else already explained it, but esports isn't really a "joke" anymore when companies are paying a lot of money to keep these people on their roster/bench whatever. It becomes a PR thing and an issue of whether or not a company wants to be associated with being okay with those kinds of remarks. So yeah, call it silly or whatever you want, but in the real world, as someone else said, jobs usually have ethics clauses in their contracts regarding behavior. If the behavior doesn't align with company values, then there is usually some form of punishment. The big bosses may or may not actually care about the infraction personally, but as a company they've gotta make themselves look good ya feel
