Sorry for the delay - we've been having some issues verifying specific matches which can happen due to steam bugs / item servers being down or bot difficulties. I initially tried to verify that game the night it happened but couldn't. Should be verified now though.

I just pinged our developers again, hopefully we'll have that resolved soon. Last I heard they were working on it but unsure exactly what was going on. Our apologies.

Have him submit a ticket with the match in question and his steam ID so we can take a look. He can also add me and I can try to bother the relevant people.

In the event thread on tf.tv cyzer said it won't be played tonight so I closed it because no one had bet yet anyway. I then double-checked with Ninjanick via steam, and he told me it won't happen until after GXL and the date is as of yet undetermined. Since we normally don't have bets open a week in advance, I was planning to reopen it after GXL or when the date for the match is set. If it's happening tonight my apologies but that wasn't the information I received.

Thanks for the heads-up Caspian! Should be fixed now. The bug that results in matches closing even after being rescheduled will hopefully be fixed in the new version of the site which should be out soon.

Hope my Dodgers can pull it off on Thursday. That being said, if the Rangers lose there literally won't be a single team that I don't want to root for as a baseball fan. Lots of hungry teams from cities that haven't won in a while, romantic story-lines. Not sure why I don't include the Rangers in that category but I guess the Mets, Cubs, Royals, and Astros all seem to fit the storyline better.

As for predictions I think it will be the Dodgers v Cubs in the NL with the Cubs advancing to WS while I see it being Blue Jays v Royals in the AL, with the BJs advancing. I could see either team taking it at that point but I gotta go with the cubbies. Hard to predict when there are three Game 5s in the next two days though! Should be great ball regardless.

If it were split so that Blue and Red kills are on their respective sides that'd be sick! That would make it much easier to see who's dominating a fight, especially since this would allow twice as many kills to be displayed so a huge fight wouldn't cause kills to be rapidly displaced by more recent ones. Like I said, probably not worth the effort, if it's even possible, though.

I'd agree with the idea that if the map scores are centered the HUD should be changed to match. I think that could look good, but probably isn't worth the effort. If a centered overlay were to be used I'd like to see something like this:

I think this overlay is more 'busy' and distracting but offers aesthetic appeal and might be easier to follow for newer viewers, since Blu and Red each have a side of the screen devoted to them, which might be more intuitive. Overall I prefer the current setup but it might be nice to consider something like this.

Also, personally I dislike the current uber percentage setup: I think it would look nicer between the two teams if we were to keep the current layout.

Something I'd be interested in would be head-to-head between the big long-term invite names such as b4nny, cyzer, enigma, platinum, and harbleu. Not sure how doable that is with the data you have.

Earlier today I received a PM. However, even after opening it, the little yellow triangle that notifies you of messages hasn't disappeared. Occurs on both safari and chrome although I'm not sure how it could be browser-specific. Just though I should let you know.

EDIT - Also we are refunding the aforementioned bet here as team leaders still aren't sure when it will be played. There may or may not be a new bet for when the game is eventually played.
