gpu prices/availabilities are fucked atm due to bitcoin going up making mining more viable atm. i'd recommend waiting a bit. i'd also recommend getting GPUs used but that's just me, up to you

cheers, i'll probably do some research on ryzen x264 streaming and decide whether to wait for coffee lake or not. if it can stream x264 on a decent preset and maintain 60fps in game then it might be worth it for me. better performance in newer threaded games like gta 5 or witcher 3 would be a nice bonus too

im in a similar position, looking to upgrade an i5-2500k @4.5GHz potentially this summer, games (tf2 mainly) and streaming (with nvenc atm but x264 would be nice for tftv at least). worth going for a 1600? i'd probably be manually overclocking and from what ive seen the 1600 and 1600x overclock very similarly which basically makes them identical

is this in pubs? 70 fps would be a bit low for 32 player pubs if your cpu isn't OC'd but isn't unreasonably low for this game
