I agree. The map plays well enough at this point that major changes could really be a mistake.

This map looks really good. Just a few points of critique though:

I think you should move the spawnpoints closer to the spawn doors just to reduce the walking distance a bit.

The barriers above mid really obstruct jumping to an annoying degree, they just feel too low.

The stairs will be annoying for soldiers as rockets can go right through them.

The health pack in the back corner as you exit spawn to the right is kind of an awkward spot, it might be better in that grass patch next to the left fence or just along the right fence. (Though I should playtest first before I comment on this kind of thing)

Also shrugger found a way to escape the map but he wants me to keep it a secret so he can troll people with it.

Open up the area under the middle point more. You shouldn't be able to get all the way through there unseen on a midfight.

I think you should move the choke point stairs and the house closer to middle, and relocate the forward spawn on middle so that you have fewer buildings and less space between the walk from the choke to the midpoint. That would also free up some space in the second point yard for you to build some more structures, and make the flank route a bit more connected to the valley at middle. Heres a quick edit of what I mean (I just dragged the house and the valley area a bit closer to the mid point): http://i.imgur.com/Mgodl8V.jpg.

For second, I kind of doubt a spire is going to work. I think you need to come up with some other structure for it, and you should fill out the area more.

The building that connects to last has amazing sniper sightlines from both the top and bottom entrances, and there is a lack of cover or any good forward holding positions to allow for pressuring a sniper.

We pugged it yesterday, and it played pretty well.

On second, I think that moving the door over toward the ramp helped a lot because it centralized a lot of the action inside the base and made each area seem more manageable meanwhile reducing backcaps. The rollout is a bit slower and awkward for your combo it seems though.

Last seemed better. The real problem I encounter now is the fact that you spawn so far back in the spawn room that it takes a really long time to get outside, then go all the way around the wall then get to the point. People have also been bothered by the lack of a second way out of spawn.

Gonna have to try it again to really get a feel for the changes on mid.
