I completely agree, that's part of my motivation for this. The plan is for the Saturday mix to be for all tiers.

However, I just think that (if there are enough players) set-tier mixes could be more enjoyable as they'd be more evenly matched. Nonetheless, we'll have to see where this goes.

I have a few ideas but many of them are a bit vague. Any community suggestions will be summarised, added and credited below:

• Sixes doublemix every Saturday
  
• Games for set skill levels/tiers
  
• WhatsApp group
  
• Some set moderators, some basic and non-intrusive ground rules and a game 'host'
  
• Discord group (Callum)

This is a relatively spontaneous move on a thought I've had for a while, so it might take a few days to be fully set-up and fleshed out.

I guess I'll start one then.

Used to have Razer Goliathus Extended, a control and a speed, but felt they weren't tall enough. Russian keyboard style, so I literally use the entire width of the mousepad.

I play with 55cm/360 so ideally I want something that is 65cm+ by 35cm+. Even better would be 100cm+ by 60cm+.

A smooth, cloth pad with soft/sewn edges would be ideal. Budget isn't an issue as long as it's not an obscene amount.

These are the ones I'm currently looking at, so if any of you have had any I'd appreciate any reviews:

Just played a mix to test the unlocks

Loch 'N Load is insane vs scouts and on mids, with kritz if you hit it's pretty nutty. You can literally snipe their Medic as a demoman without sticks extremely easily and it just munches on scouts.

Parachute was aids but more gimmicky - if your scouts just shoot the parachuting player its a free pick, but if they don't you can do surprisingly more than I expected.

Gunslinger was frustrating to play against occassionally in scrappy fights but in general was very easy to deal with

Jarate when holding or just spamming it in then pushing is crazy good, easy to just spam it into choke and deny a push and kill everything. Makes playing without Jarate unviable from what I played - same with the old quick fix, you had to use it essentially.

Didn't really notice anything else, sandvich was kind of dumb but I noone used much else than the above. I'd assume rescue ranger would be good but haven't played vs it yet

Edit: Atomizer could theoretically be really strong since you can just dodge the soldier for long enough to kill him but I haven't played soldier vs it yet

Overall, I felt that the Jarate, Rescue Ranger and possibly the Atomizer were the only very broken unlocks. The others could be easily learnt to counter or were comparable to other weapons available - such as the direct hit and loch n load. The parachute seems strong but giving up a weapon for it makes it more of a gimmick than anything.

Please try and start as early as possible or on the exact time. Any unsubmitted games or unreported games will be discounted, UNLESS an admin is contacted via discord. A coinflip will decide who continues. The higher seed will be heads and the lower tails.

Please try and avoid default wins – if your opponents don’t add you, again, message on our discord ASAP and I’ll sort something out. If you opponents don’t want to play, message on our discord and report the default win with proof.
