The rankings are now split between classes. In order to not split the pot 3 ways, there is a scoring system to find the 3 overall winners.
You get 3 points for being in first place, 2 for being second or third, and 1 point for being in fourth, fifth, or sixth place.
There are also two metrics equally weighted: total kills, and average kills in a round. You have to grind, but you also have to do consistently well to win.
For example right now, DavidB has most overall kills on scout (+3), most overall kills on demo (+3), third most kills on soldier (+2), second highest kills per round on soldier (+2), highest kills per round on scout (+3), and fifth most kills per round on demo (+1), therefore he has 14 points.
New rules:
- new scoring system
- must be in top 20 total kills to be considered for top avg kills.
- a round will only be counted if there were 8 unique players that round.
- if you see any evidence of obvious feeding/cheesing/hacking, send evidence and I will exclude them from tournament
- if you switch classes mid round, only the kills on class with the most kills is counted
- DM#4, no class restrictions is excluded.
- If you want to be excluded, dm me on tftv
- New end date: 1/15/2023 11:59 EST The entire month seems too long.....
- tiebreaker (if necessary) will be who can kill the most bots in tr_rocket_shooting2 in 10 minutes, sv_cheats 0, any class
check out the updated website (will polish when I get more time). The scoring system is probably not perfect, but its just an experiment after all...
good luck!
