That's also what Jon said in Discord (after 20 days)
Even if mumble was required in EU, most people aren't going to call. Personally I prefer to play with music in the background without any comms in lobbies. If you want to play with comms you can play mixes or pugchamp. Even in NA I played a few (mumble required) lobbies where only 2-3 people were talking and the other players didn't say a single thing.
SpaceCadetHence it will get banned every week just like Cardinal was these past 2 seasons.
This is also the reason why I think the Pick/Ban system doesn't really work with the 'map testing during a season'. People are just going to ban it, thus it's not getting played and tested and the map maker doesn't get enough feedback as with the old system.
bearodactyl...removed badlands and granary
Honestly I wouldn't mind if prolands (and maybe granary) wasn't played for one or two seasons. Just give other maps a chance, they can always be added again next season of the season after if there's no potential in the newer maps.
Even though the changes to prolands were nice, it didn't really make the map better imo. For example, it's a lot easier to get on the point if someone is behind the point. As far as I understood the map, if you are defending and there's a player behind the point during the fight, you can just ignore him for a bit because he can't do anything in that position. He had to go all the way around the point to cap, but in the newer version he can just walk on the point before you can even see him from top.
If one (or more) maps are good enough, how are you going to decide which maps of the current map pool are going to be removed? There was a poll season 25
_KermitPlease ETF2L let us at least have a pre-season cup for this, if not just putting it straight into S32.
Pre-season cup with maps like logjam, reckoner and even metalworks will be sick
jnkievrbdlvsmeOur team was placed in low when the provisional tiers got published, and yes, that is kinda bullshit, but for what exact reason should WE get punished? If you have any complains, you should adress them to etf2l admins. Also, the only reason we made it to finals is because we are playing like 10-12 scrims per week, desperatly trying to overcome the fact that we all hate each other . Also also, i like how everyone ignores players with mid/high 6's and prem hl experience in Vague roster.
You wanna talk hl experience after 4 of your mains won div 1 last season? Or 6s where literally 5 of your players been actively playing Mid on and off anywhere from 1 to 5 seasons, all within the same team(with two of them additionally playing in 6s national team). Mason is the only player from main roster that plays hl above Open.
think youre just a little bit full of shit
yeah, playing heavy or engi in a highlander really matters in 6s. the other two players are offclassing and Boshy is even playing medic
You did the same thing last season, when you won low while you played high (6s and hl) with at least 2 more players having mid/high experience in 6s or highlander. But that was fine right? Why do you care so much now? O wait...
Tino_Like personally what I would do to the bow is;
Min-Max healing of 35-75
No passive reload
Reload time of 3 seconds (up from current 1.5)
No uber build
What do we want to achieve with all these changes? Is our goal to change the crossbow because it's annoying to play against or is our goal to stimulate players to use other primary weapons?
Imo the uber build and passive reload are fine the way it is now. I do agree that max healing should be less and that the reload time should be a bit longer.
If you want change the crossbow because it's annoying to play against, removing the uber build and passive reload doesn't make any sense because it doesn't remove the 'annoying part' of the weapon. It just slows the game down because it takes longer to get uber, and if you want to quickly shoot an arrow to save your roamer or something and you haven't reloaded yet, you just wait 3 seconds and do nothing while both of you are waiting. So before most pushes you have to wait 3 seconds to reload, in case you have to shoot an arrow during a fight.
And if you want to make the other primary weapons better, why? Most scouts only use the scattergun, while all the other primaries are terrible as well. But that's not a problem because the crossbow is way better than the other weapons compared to the scattergun and the other primaries?
