from isolating my custom files and configs I believe the issue was comanglia's config somehow. By removing it I was able to launch tf2 without it insta crashing but with it in my autoexec the crashes happened. Why it started happening now is beyond me though, as I've used the config for my whole tf2 career

While trying to connect to my esea match I would crash immediately after my game showed "connecting to server." I could still load up tf2 normally without the esea client but not through it. I verified game cache twice and removed my launch options, and then my tf2 just crashed upon launch even without the esea client. I then reinstalled tf2, I removed my autoexec and custom folder, launched with -autoconfig in launch options and still can't launch tf2 without immediately crashing. Please help
my previous launch options were -novid -nojoy -nosteamcontroller -noff -nohltv -softparticlesdefaultoff -reuse -primarysound -snoforceformat -swapcores -limitsvconst

zheepmake sure m_rawinput is set to 1
after the windows 10 creators update i’m pretty sure having it set to 0 will make your mouse do exactly what you’re talking about

I haven't had issues with my sensitivity, but I'll pay attention to the steel series engine being off when running tf2. I'm pretty sure I had the issue without it being run though

Since scrims on thursday I noticed occasionally my mouse would just randomly do it's own thing. I would be healing people and then my aim would drift in one direction on its own, I would just start spinning around doing 360s, stuff like that until I lifted my mouse and fixed it.
Here's some information I think is useful:
- I'm pretty sure it's not my mouse. I use a steel series sensei and borrowed my brother's steel series rival and I still had the issue
- I'm pretty sure it's not my mousepad, as I cleaned it and still had the issue. I then borrowed my brother's mousepad (which is even dirtier than mine) and still had the issue
- I'm pretty sure it's related to tf2. I play csgo for fun and never noticed it happening, and I never noticed it happening when I wasn't in any game and just on my desktop / web browsers.
- I recently did something with a config that reset my game to all default settings so all my binds, hitsound, option settings and shit were reset to the default.
So yeah if anyone has any ideas about what it could be that'd be great. I'm hesitant to buy another mouse to see if that fixes the problem because using my brother's mouse didn't fix it.

yoonamy only issue with is the little beep noise it makes and that you have to be invited to servers instead of putting info in. (you can't do that as far as i'm aware, idk i dont use it a lot, also is it possible to get rid of the beep sound when you use push to talk??)
Go to settings, Notifications, and uncheck PTT activated / deactivated.

The VAC ban rule applies to TF2 related VAC bans, as FACEIT servers are VAC secure. You can play FACEIT with a VAC ban on a different game.
