Even withdrawals seem to be bugged.

I tried to withdraw 10 items, and only got 7 of them. The other 3 are stuck "Pending Withdrawal Confirmation" indefinitely.

Edit: The items will return to your loot eventually, so you can get the items if you keep trying.

I noticed the caster (and FACEIT guy) James Bardolph joined the TF2 competitive beta group.

Interesting stuff. Hyper-threading would allow the CPU to run all the background processes (which of course use 100s of threads) without impacting the game performance as much, so I'd expect some improvement even with multicore rendering off, but probably not that much.

#12 Help me build my TF2 PC in Hardware
SetsulI wouldn't recommend going the Pentium route though. TF2 is weird so an i3 actually gets you 30-35% more fps at the the same clockrate. What that means is an i3-4170 (3.7GHz) gets you just as many fps as a G3258 at 4.8-5.0GHz and an overclock that high isn't going to happen.

Is that weird? Even TF2 creates more than 2 main threads, so it's obviously going to perform better on the dual core with hyper-threading.

#20 ADULTS PLAY TEAM FORTRESS 2 (Adults React: Gaming) in TF2 General Discussion

I had to watch a top fragmovie afterwards to balance out what I'd just seen.

#15 7 Gamers, 1 CPU -- a $30,000 Desktop Computer in Off Topic
Dave_i want to see tf2 benchmarks for this with 1 user (both cpus, all 7 gpus) with comanglia's config

TF2 is bottlenecked by single-threaded CPU performance, and I don't think it even supports 2 gpu crossfire let alone 4, so those Xeons would actually not perform that well. It would still get good FPS of course, but I reckon you could build a $500 i5 PC that would outperform it for TF2.

Picking up a 3960X off ebay is a great way to keep your room warm during winter.

#67 DHW2015 GF: Reason Gaming vs. swedeRage*Essentials.tf*tf2pickup.net in Matches
SideshowThe entire purpose of the event was to prove something to esportunited and sponsors at the event, and build from there. They now want to do bi-annual events at DH with much larger booths and sponsorship than this, so success. There are also a few companies more interested as a result, and an org taking it all bigger. This event wasn't really for the viewers, it's to make our way onto a platform where we will have those viewers.

Do you think that hosting ETF2L playoffs this way could be realistic?

#8 New condensed scheduled and roster changes for DreamHack Winter Day 1 in News

Would it now make sense to play the lower bracket round 1 this evening instead of the upper bracket final? Unless I'm missing something, the order of those two games doesn't matter.

#12 Sweden increase terrorist risk level - Dreamhack in TF2 General Discussion
King_GimliSideshow it's so ridiculously unlikely that I hadn't even considered it was just food for thought, like i said, its just travel that gonna be a pain in the ass, im flying to Gatwick and then Copenhagen, then border crossing on land into Sweden. SO many borders.

A nice way to cross the border is to get the ferry from Helsingør to Helsingborg.

It's true the odds seemed to change after the match was live. I ended up with quite a lot less winnings than predicted as well (1.46 vs ~1.9 keys), although this was only partly due to the changing odds.

Can we get an explanation for this one?

I think that's the first time I've seen an airshot-shotgun-airshot combo.
