Sounds like extortion :P
I'll let our TF2 admins determine this... I'm pretty sure we'll be starting with a relatively clean ban list.

Thanks for the feedback all!
We'll look into the possibility of supporting multiple teams per game, although this does go against our currently policy, it's something we will consider.
The 10 user roster limit is just a visual thing - there's no true limit.

I'm really looking forward to using this for scrims. However, I've been having trouble creating a Highlander team and a 6v6 team. Is that possible to do currently? Or are we restricted to one team?
1 Team per game
nerkulTwinqe, I think it's possible to have one squad and sign up for multiple ladders.
This is right, that 1 team can join multiple leagues ladders & tournaments.

Just a short & sweet post to let the users here know we've officially opened 6vs6.
It's been open for about 24hrs, and we've currently got 4 teams fully registered, and dozens more signed up.
Also, we have over 300 Highlander teams created looking to fill out their rosters. There's already been 6 HL matches in the last 4 days.

fraacLogging in with Steam currently doesn't work (at least on Chrome). I didn't get past that. I really want to recommend IGL to a lot of people.
This issue was fixed - it was caused by us statically returning www.playigl.com. If a user was visiting playigl.com (no www) the issue occurred.
tomroadrunnerRight now you have to create a site account, then link your steam to your site account afterward. It's inconvenient, but doesn't really break it. A lot of little things on the site are broken, but there's usually a work-around.
Lots of these little things have been ironed out, Still a few more here & there, but we're tackling as fast as we can!

Figured I would post this here in case others have the same problems.
This issue was fixed last week!
tomroadrunnerPlayed our first match, here's my report:
12pm, match started. First server went down after the first round. Some difficulty was had in getting things going again.
12:30ish, second round started. A second server was set up for us, played out the rest of the match without a hitch.
The admin was talking to both myself and the leader of the other team throughout to try and address problems. The first few matches will be a little rough, and the account linking needs to be fixed, badly, but the bootstrapper worked fine.
To elaborate - everything functioned as expected, however the Dallas box where he match was being held had an stv demo running for a few days which hit over 400GB causing the server to crash. Within minutes IGL had a Chicago based server setup & link to all user dashboards for easy access.
Perhaps you can explain to these users tom how easy it was for you as a captain to get your players to join the match.

Technical difficulties to begin, had to start late when IGL server died, but admin was helpful throughout. 2nd half of match went off without a hitch. We're really looking forward to the 6v6 ladder opening as well!
To extend on this, everything went off without a hitch, we just had some terrible timing. The Dallas box the server was running on had an stv demo of 400GB and growing which caused the server to crash. Within moments IGL had the match relocated to Chicago, and everything continued smoothly.
We have since recovered Dallas & had 2 more successful matches with no hick-ups!

@Niko - Please do get your team registered, matches start in a week. There's 4 active, and 25+ with 6 or more players waiting to fill out their rosters. In regards to the forums, we got some functionality updates coming. Style updates are coming in a few weeks.
@fraac - A lot of our functionality is reliant on match activity. Things like article links, and more details on the player profile are already completed & on the staging environment pending a push to production.

Can we sign up for this ladder and if yes do we qualify for the shirts ? (not that Im playing for them, just curious.)
This contest is for NA teams currently. EU teams & players are welcome, however all matches will be on NA servers until we open our EU division.
