#36 TF2C Announcment? in TF2 General Discussion
BrightlyBoyBarry_ChuckleExzehttp://forums.tf2center.com/topic/9825-tf2c-masternoob-steam-001889903/

This make up for that Spenny?

So wait, Masternoob got a temp ban in tf2c?

Yes, he was issued a temp ban but it's not being respected. Less than 24 hours later (supposed to be a week-long ban) and he's already breaking it: http://imgur.com/TvjMzud

I'm glad I stopped play TF2C a while ago. Advanced lobbies, the admin shitstorm then 16s? No thanks.

#1 Steaming Quality in Hardware

Hopefully gonna start streaming in the summer. TF2, CSGO and Rocket League, maybe a few others.

What quality/fps could I stream at with the following hardware and internet connection?

  • CPU - i5 4570
  • GPU - ASUS GTX 970 Strix
  • Samsung 850 EVO (don't think this matters, idk though)

Note I don't actually own this hardware yet, so I'm open to suggestions of other parts.

Looks awesome, but never played it. Love the rocket launchers and shotguns etc, but imo the laser things look ridiculous.

I think the obvious choice is CSGO :p

Maybe try hero's and generals if you're up for something different.

#2 Finding STV Demos in TF2 General Discussion

Quite a few stv's are on ETF2L. I'm not sure if the high playoffs will be added, but here is where you can find them if they are: http://etf2l.org/demos/?team=&comp=any&pov=stv

Alright so what we've established is Timus & SynciNG are gods that people shouldn't play against. Saying otherwise gets you down-fragged. Cool.

I'll get back to running the tournament now, I didn't mean for it to turn into an argument.

Phoenix21Barry_ChuckleDamnEasy He and syncing also practice regularly so if you want to beat them you'd have to practice ultiduo every day
I spoke to Timus and they hardly practice Ultiduo at all
maybe timus doesn't, but he did use to play a lot of mge/dm
also SyncING - http://imgur.com/seEm73d

I didn't say anything about mge, he still plays it a lot I believe.

Yeah I know they've played Ultiduo lots which is why I'm trying to say. They're good because they've practiced a lot in the past, and they still train in dm. The point I'm trying to make is that anyone, with enough time could challenge them, and it wouldn't take prem players too long to get there.

I spoke to Timus and they hardly practice Ultiduo at all, just like a warmup game before each tournament, so I guess it just comes to dm like you said.

funhaver1998for future reference if you do a tournament like this again then maybe you should be more specific as to what classifies as low tier (example: saying that you can't play if you have 2500hrs+ or above mid). i've never played ultiduo before so i have no idea what its like, but judging by the mgeing some the of people that applied for the low tier there aren't any people sandbagging apart from maybe the obvious alt, but its unknown if hes good or not.

Yeah I'll totally take that on board. This is the 3rd time I've done this, and each time they've got bigger, so the skill-gap was becoming huge, hence the split tier. If there is a next time I'll be sure to be more exact about the entry-requirements, but for now I'm unsure if it's worth the effort just for a few people.

DUO.TF WHERE YOU AT.
